Race tuning engines such as Honda N, Honda Z and Honda S1300 (all air cooled). Design chassis for local FL500 championship.

Using MF318 engine and March chassis, development work and testing begins with an eye towards participating in Suzuka based FJ1300 series. |
1978 |
Employing local driver, Kengo Nakamoto, we race and win Suzuka FJ1300 championship. FJ1300 championship finished at the end of the year. A decision is made to move up to Japanese F3 championship. |
1979 |
Maintain F3 Nova Toyota 2TG engine. Development work begins on Toda Racing's Toyota 2TG engine. |
